Ruby's Acres Alpaca Farm is a family friendly farm, and we are thrilled to provide you and your family with a great experience. Our farm is open all year long and the farm store is stocked with amazing alpaca fiber items for purchase. Due to the change of seasons, our offerings are always changing, so stop by today to find out what we’ve got to offer today and make sure to take a goodie home with you.

Farm Tours & Alpaca Walks

Cost:
Farm Tour - $12.00 + HST = $13.56 per person starting at age 2 and up.
​
Alpaca Walks - $30.00 + HST = $33.90 per person for a MINIMUM of 2 alpacas because they need a friend to walk with, and so should you!
The Farm Store
We love to bring guests into our farm store because it is full of the most amazing alpaca fiber items you can get your hands on.

Most of our store items are shipped in from Peru, but we do source socks from Canada with home grown fiber.
​
The store is open by appointment only, please send us an email and we can set something up!
Ruby's Acres Honey Bees
In July 2023 we ventured into honey bees with the help of some wonderful friends and mentors.
​
We started off with 2 large hives and split to make 4 hives. Then we caught a swarm at another farm to make 5 hives! We were able to harvest 36lbs of honey this year from one hive. The others are growing for the 2024 season.
​
The flavor of our honey predominantly comes from white clover which covers all our alpaca paddocks and lawn. You will often see bees working hard around our farm collecting for their hive. In coming years we will have dogwood trees, lavender and many more flowers to feed the bees.
​
During our tours, we do not go near the hives as they are at the back of our paddocks. But you may see them during your tour while they work. Please do not be afraid of them as bees are gentle and will not sting unless provoked (usually when we go into their hive!). Please bring your medication if you have allergies, just to be safe!

Ruby's Acres Alpaca Farm is a local Farm nestled in rural Odessa. Our farm store is filled with amazing alpaca fiber items sourced from both Peru (made from Peruvian artisans) and products made from our herd's fleece. We’re proud to offer our customers these amazing alpaca fleece blend blankets, sized 5'x7'-ish. There are lots to choose from, and our offerings change depending on the shipments from Peru so you’ll always be surprised when you visit us. You should know that everything we sell at our store is grown and sheared humanely, so you can fully enjoy nature’s gifts.

Kids and adults are drawn to these beautifully handcrafted kids sweaters! They are warm because they are made from alpaca fleece for warmth and acrylic merino wool for durability. Bring smiles wherever you take your kid with these one of a kind sweaters!
