Ruby's Acres Alpaca Farm is a family friendly farm, and we are thrilled to provide you and your family with a great experience.  Our farm is open all year long and the farm store is stocked with amazing alpaca fiber items for purchase. Due to the change of seasons, our offerings are always changing, so stop by today to find out what we’ve got to offer today and make sure to take a goodie home with you.

Farm Tours & Alpaca Walks

Farm tours and alpaca walks are now available!

​

Please visit the Book Online page to book your tour. Please leave your dogs at home!

​

Cost:

Farm Tour - $12.00 + HST = $13.56 per person starting at age 2 and up.

​

Alpaca Walks - $30.00 + HST = $33.90 per person for a MINIMUM of 2 alpacas because they need a friend to walk with, and so should you! Minimum age to walk an alpaca is 12.

Fiber Skirting and Sorting Course

We are excited to be the host for this year's course instructed by the very knowledgeable Denise Martel.

​

Brought to you by Haliburton School of Arts and Alpaca Ontario, this course is open for anyone who has alpacas and would like to get the most out of your fleece. You will learn to sort and skirt your fiber and how to store it for processing. Learn about The Fiber Initiative Co-op where you can exchange fiber for items (socks for example).

Cost per person:

This is a 2 part registration!! You must visit both sites to pay your entire registration.

$80  + HST = $90.40 (Alpaca Ontario Members)

$100 + HST =$113 (non Members)

The Farm Store

We love to bring guests into our farm store because it is full of the most amazing alpaca fiber items you can get your hands on. 

​

Most of our store items are shipped in from Peru, but we do source socks from Canada with home grown fiber.

2nd Annual Farm Market

We were absolutely blown away by the support we got from our Fall market last October. We are gearing up for another Fall market!! We will be looking for 30-40 vendors, 2 food trucks, and who knows what else we may have up our sleeve!!

**Vendors - there will be a call out on social media and our website for vendors for October. That will happen in about March. Please be patient with us!
